Winter Camping in the TAXA TigerMoth // Short Film

I’ve often wondered, what is it that I like so much about photography?

I don’t think I share the same reasons most photographers do. In fact, the final result of the image often comes secondary to me.. My favorite thing about photography isn’t actually taking photos at all – it’s the adventure associated with chasing down that perfect image.

Now you might be wondering, what does this blog post have to do with TAXA Outdoors? Well, this is my first post here and I figured I’d give you all some background on who I am, what I do, and how my TAXA helps me do it.

My name is Jason Webber. I’m a photographer, video creator, and YouTuber based in Buffalo, NY. I primarily focus on creating content that has to do with landscape and adventure photography. Whether it’s the behind the scenes of a photography trip, showing how I created an image, or just some slick B-Roll, you’ll find it on my YouTube channel.

I purchased my TAXA TigerMoth in the Fall of 2019 to help me spend time in the outdoors more often, more conveniently, and more comfortably. The TigerMoth has absolutely delivered on all three of those points.

This video above is just a short piece of content I created on one of my Winter trips in the TigerMoth this past winter. I have a bunch of content yet to come here and I can’t wait to share them with you all. Thanks for reading and watching!

The view at the top of one of my favorite hikes in the Adirondacks.
Don’t let the bright blue sky fool you, it was a few degrees below zero this morning. Freezing cold but well worth it.
On the last day of our trip, after a 4AM wakeup in -20 (fehrenheit) temps, we hiked to the top of Indian Head for sunrise. My favorite view in the Adirondacks. Perfect way to end the trip.
