GSI x TAXA Giveaway Terms + Conditions

ELIGIBILITY: Open only to persons who are 18 years of age or older. Employees of Taxa Inc., its affiliates, subsidiaries, advertising and promotion agencies, and suppliers, (collectively the “Employees”), and immediate family members and/or those living in the same household of Employees are not eligible to participate in the Contest. The Contest is subject to all applicable federal, state, and local laws and regulations. Void where prohibited or restricted by law. NO PURCHASE NECESSARY. A PURCHASE WILL NOT IMPROVE YOUR CHANCES OF WINNING.

CONTEST PERIOD: The Contest entry period begins at 8:00am on Monday, September 14, 2020 and ends at 11:59pm PST on Sunday, September 20, 2020 (the “Contest Period”). Winners will be selected from entries properly submitted and timely received during the Contest Period.

HOW TO ENTER: During the Contest Period, use the entry form to submit your entry. Limit One (1) Entry per person, per e-mail address, during the Contest Period. Entries that are incomplete or do not adhere to the rules or specifications may be disqualified at the sole discretion of Taxa Inc. You must provide the information requested. You may not enter more times than indicated by using multiple email addresses, identities, or devices in an attempt to circumvent the rules. If you use fraudulent methods or otherwise attempt to circumvent the rules, your submission may be removed from eligibility at the sole discretion of Taxa Inc..

ALTERNATIVE MEANS OF ENTRY: You may also enter the Contest by mailing a standard-size postcard with your name and email address to: TAXA Contest Entries, c/o TAXA Marketing Dept., 1830 W 15th Street, Houston, TX 77008. Postcard entries must be postmarked during the Contest Period to be included within the random drawing, and no more than one postcard/email address may be submitted during the Contest Period.

WINNER SELECTION: Winners will be determined by random drawing to be held on or about Monday, September 20, 2020. Winner will be selected from entries received during the Contest Period. The potential winner will be notified via email to the email address submitted with the potential winner’s entry within one (1) week after the drawing. The drawing will be conducted by Taxa Inc., the judge of the Contest, whose decisions on all matters relating to the Contest shall be final. In the event that a potential winner is disqualified for any reason, Taxa Inc. may, in its sole discretion, award the applicable prize to an alternate winner selected at random.

Prizes/Odds of Winning Prize: Taxa Inc.: $100 Credit to TAXA Outdoors Gear Shop. Approximate Retail Value (ARV) $100. GSI Outdoors: 540 Selkirk Camp Stove, Escape Collapsible Pot Set (2L + 3L Escape Pot), and 2 TAXA Branded Microlite 1000 Water Bottles. Approximate Retail Value (ARV) $314.75. Overall odds of winning depend on number of entries received during the Contest Period. No prize substitution or cash equivalent of prize. No prize transfer.

CONDITIONS: Taxa Inc. reserves the right, at its sole discretion, to cancel, terminate, modify or suspend the Contest (or portion thereof). Taxa Inc. also reserves the right at its sole discretion to disqualify the Entry of any individual. All federal, state and local taxes on prize and any expenses not specified herein are the sole responsibility of winner. Should a dispute arise regarding the identity of the claimant, Taxa Inc. reserves the sole right to determine the eligible party. By entering, entrant waives all rights to bring (and covenants not to bring) any claim against Taxa Inc. or any others associated with this Contest. Entrants further agree to release and hold harmless Taxa Inc. from any and all liability arising from their participation in the Contest, or Taxa Inc.’s use of any entry information. Any disputes that may arise hereunder shall be governed in all respects by the laws of Texas without regard to the conflicts of laws principles of any jurisdiction. Venue with respect to any such disputes shall be had in the state and federal courts of Texas.

PUBLICITY AND RELEASE.  As a condition of entry into the Contest, except where prohibited by law, each entrant and each winner by accepting a prize grants to Taxa Inc., all right, title and interest in to publicize, broadcast, display and/or otherwise use the Contest entrant’s name, city, state, and biographical material (collectively, “Licensed Rights”) in any media for advertising and publicity purposes, without additional review, compensation, or approval of the winner. If Winner does not respond to notification, or is not present when prize delivery is attempted, such prize will be forfeited. By participating, entrants agree to be bound by the Official Rules and the decisions of the judges, which are final and binding in all respects. 

OFFICIAL RULES/WINNERS LIST. For notification of the winners, send a self-addressed stamped envelope to: TAXA Giveaway Entries c/o TAXA Marketing Dept., 1830 W 15th Street, Houston, TX 77008. Requests for winners’ lists must be received within one month after the end of the Contest Period.
